A little jawing and a missed shot (or 10) and he starts to do stupid things on the court.
Don't get me wrong, he played very well last night, but the reaching fouls after a bad play is a common occurrence for Nick now. It seems like he gets a foul or two a game on un gracefully reaching in after a turnover or miss as a result of his angst from the prior plays.
IMO, him bumping the SD player in frustration was a similar reaction to the Utah "punch" last year. The jawing and physical stuff away from the whistles all game long clearly gets under his skin. He needs to either toughen up mentally to ignore it, or learn to do his cheap shots back when the official is not looking.
