The point is, an underdog who has lived in the shadows of an older, more established program beats the top dog for the first time, and the fans of the winning institution use that as a rallying point and a validation of their program. BYU football had that in '42 against Utah, and UVU basketball had it in' 16 against BYU.

My point is, why keep dwelling on it and being so Butthurt when UVU acts like they won the NBA finals by beating BYU? Shouldn't we be flattered? We were there once too.
