I have a "friend" who posts around 10 times a day, all trying to get people in her downline for It Works! wraps. Usually no one comments or likes the status except her mom, brother, or husband. But every few days she'll post one asking who's interested in "joining her weight-loss program" or "trying a new face cleansing regimen" and she'll suddenly have about 15 comments of people who are super interested and want more info because it sounds awesome. Only it's the same group of people every time. And every single one is already a distributor for It Works! IMO it is so, so dishonest. Pyramid scheme in all its glory.
