I don't think most big time coaches do anything with their alma mater. Does anyone think about where Sagan went to
school?
Usually the only time anyone cares is if the coach is playing his alma mater. Otherwise, they've moved on.
I think byu fans are too sensitive about this stuff. They forget that these guys are real people whose job is to coach football, not be an alum of where they went to college.

He was never really a BYU guy. You can be at BYU but not be a BYU guy. Like Bronco or Dallin Leavitt. But I don't care
