Sorta like I'm leaning towards not hooking up with Jessica Alba.
I'll be delighted for him if he gets a shot on an NBA roster--after 4 years at BYU. Thinking that he's NBA ready NOW would be about as delusional a thing as I've ever seen.

No surprise. I'd be shocked if he were considering the NBA draft this year.

Why

He would not go 1st round and might not even get a roster spot. It's too risky.

But why would his situation be any different next year?

It may or may not be better, but until he has guaranteed NBA money, he should

His degree should be the last thing on his considerations list for the NBA.

There are way too many college dropouts playing playground ball

Play another year, have a better season, raise your draft stock

Is not so much NBA ready, as it is about where he'll go in the draft

If Mika were told he would be a 1st round pick, it would be a very easy decision

If he was guaranteed a 2nd round pick he may be gone as well. If it's that he

I wonder how often nba teams give promises to 2nd round guys.

I agree with everything you said. It makes the decision that much harder.

Agree. but what they will do is say, "if you don't get drafted, contact us immediately and we'll sign you."

That definitely happens a lot. IMO It is better to go un drafted

If Mika chooses to return, all starters return, surprise add of Seljaas and likely others, serious hype will follow.

"Coaches have to raise their game to the level of the players."---That's by greatest fear

This past season should be a cautionary tale against the "serious hype"

And hopefully they can find some defense in the off-season.

I think Mika will stay one more year to improve his draft stock

I can tell you with 100% certainty that at least 1 nba team as of a week ago

What improvements do you think he'll make
Shteve
3/21/17 10:32am
He needs to develop an outside shot.
mitchwhite221

Yes, which he could do before June.
Shteve

I think at this point he had to show it consistently in games, not in only pro day workouts.

Leaving now wouldn't be a good choice.
