I know it happens to first rounders.... But doesn't seem like guaranteeing a 2nd round kid is a smart thing for an organization to put their reputation on. I think anyone that is good enough to get a guarantee from a team will likely have to be good enough to be a first round pick.

2nd round picks are usually plan D for teams. If a draft day trade comes up that gives them players at that position... Or a player at that position slides in the first round to that team... Unlikely they draft Mika still... And even if they do keep their promise Mika would probably wish they didn't since the team just acquired players at his position.

I'm just speculating though, maybe teams do make 2nd rd promises.
