yes "just" doing that is not an offense. Now, can we apply your "if's" and get
closer to one? Sure. But a big man also has to recognize when he is being doubled. His teammates have to move without the ball. He needs to understand when to pass back out for the shot, pass back out so he can re-post, not take a bad fade-a-way. Not drive from 15' out when lacking handles, etc.
Mika was a huge part of the offense we ran. But that offense was lousy. And it's on him, the coaches, and the other 4 starters.
