Give up finishing school to play professionally in Italy? I doubt it.
If he isn't real certain that he will make an NBA squad, he will probably get his degree first. The foreign gig will still be there, plus he will have a fallback option in place.

I'm starting to wonder just how deep Mika's ties are to Italy. Did he meet anyone from the Italian League on his mission

It Italy offers 4 year $500K per, you take it. No degree will pay that right out of college.

Have there been any college players who left early specifically to play abroad?

You have any names? Again, there may well be, I just can't think of any offhand.

You can finish the degree later.

He'd be the best big in the Country. How many connections are needed? Nevertheless, he'll give the NBA a shot first.
