First of all I have never purchased any music from Journey, I have never attended a concert and I would not describe myself as a "fan". Journey is a great band, I appreciate their contributions to their genre. However, you need to separate Journey the original group with Steve Perry from the tribute band that currently carries the name Journey. The former is a great band, with great tunes, and a very talented vocalist. The latter is garbage. You do not have to be a fan of a band to appreciate their contributions. I cannot stand REM or the Rolling Stones, but I respect their accomplishments. "Haters gonna hate"... but really Journey is one of the all time great american rock and roll bands.
