They have better coaches now. That's a start. Try for A-10 level first. Mark Few has said that (BE) is what WCC could
become.
In any case it could become more than it is.
If BYU can finally become the boost it was expected to become, those California schools reside in densely populated areas and a few of them look on their way up, including USF and Santa Clara.
I can recall it was not so long ago when the A-10 was far less than WCC is today. Same with the Big East a decade earlier.
But it doesn't happen overnight.
To build a great university, you hire brilliant faculty; to build a great sports team, you hire a brilliant coach.
