I've seen it play out firsthand here with Vanderbilt where the mismanagement and greed within the hospitals and medical school on the receiving end put the research (and revenue) end on a course for going belly up. Based on that and other cases, Huntsman is not only right in his concern but is probably going about it the right way as well. When the problem is the people at the top, it takes public (or big donor or legislative) outcry to right the ship. Otherwise, they all slowly sink.
