be a big mistake to fire her now. I think if this really was an attempted power grab, she likely has learned her lesson, and won't try it again. Other than this incident, she has done a great job at the U, and is (or was) very well-liked and well-respected on the upper campus. They would have a very hard time finding someone else as qualified as she is.
