Very worst case scenario (extremely unlikely), ESPN folds. BYU has a much better landing spot than most. It has its own network, and operates in the black. BYU has and will continue to have national distribution, regardless of what happens to ESPN.

ESPN won't fold though. It will restructure. That restructuring is likely to play out in BYU's favor in the end.
