You misunderstand. I'm not advocating this except as a worst case scenario,

which is that ESPN folds. Then all conferences are scrambling to find TV coverage, while BYU sits pretty atop its own capabilities. If other networks are willing/able to pick BYU up, absolutely, go for that. But we have far less to worry about in the sports media industry than virtually anyone else.
