in finance and to stay in Utah we were going to have a tough time and wouldn't get the top jobs. Make sense, MBA rankings are heavily influenced by placement so you want students placed at the best companies in their respective fields. This was in 2012 so it's probably gotten better since then.
Also might have something to do with the stigma of BYU grads not wanting to leave Utah.
