A step up in the goal erases 1 goal, if not 2. Herrera not taking 30 minutes to settle into the game erases 1 goal, if not 2. Plus, if Jones starts instead of Zelalem the US probably doesn't go down 2-0. The US had better chances throughout, IMHO. A couple of excellent crosses went unfinished, including a sitter that Adams will replay in his mind for the rest of the tournament.

That being said, taking a point from a 3-3 draw from a top team out of CONMEBOL bodes very well for the US and our future.
