On some of them you cannot reverse at all
Because it has some sort of hinge in addition to the ball connected to the truck.
It's not like backing up with a regular trailer hitch.

I did it behind a huge U-haul. Only issue was that you can't reverse.

Moved to Nebraska then to Arizona. Towed a car on one of those both times. Easy.

Make sure you cover your windshield. I had cracks from rocks when I did it.
