The NBA was brutal to watch for much of the mid-2000's
In 2003 the Spurs beat the Nets in 6 games. Combined, both teams broke 90 points twice.
2004 Pistons over Lakes in 5. Broke 90 three times (two of which were in an OT game).
2005 Spurs over Pistons in 7. Broke 90 five times (two of which were in an OT game). And there was an actual final score of 84-69. By comparison, the Warriors have scored more than 69 in a half three times during the playoffs so far this year.
The mid 2000's really were a dark age for the NBA.
