A 40 year old very successful attorney was at his desk one day when he collapsed
and died from a massive heart attack. When he arrived at the pearly gates he inquired to St Peter as to why he died so young. St Peter promised to look into it and told the young man to have a seat...
Finally, when his number came up, St Peter called him over:
"Why did i die so young?" Asked the attorney
"Well, according to the hours you billed, you were 145... That'll be $4,000."
