From a sports perspective I agree. From an academic perspective I'd say 95% of my experiences with BYU-I students
have been positive. Unfortunately there have been some issues with BYU-I students trying to pass themselves off as BYU students on resumes and grad school admissions (both have happened recently where I'm at). That I have an issue with.
But by all means, in terms of sports and fandom bring them into the fold.
