note that some/much of the change in the difference between executives and average workers has to do with the size of
companies today.
Consider a company with 150,000 employees.... that CEO should make a lot more than the average employee.

The data that I'd like to see is the change is CEO pay over time as a percentage of total revenue. I'd bet that CEO's pay is much less today than it was 20 years ago (when measured as a percentage of total revenue).
