I got asked to go to Scout camp about 4 times with my son but said no

yes I felt guilt about being a slacker Dad...but they wanted me to be there the entire week. Work usually only allows for 2 weeks out of the year, I've got other vacations with my family planned throughout the next few months so you're right...it is about priorities...I'm thinking more of spending my free time with my entire family than with just my son. Plus my wife's 40th birthday is coming up and we already had a Hawaii trip planned...so yeah...definitely prioritizing that.
