Sure, with all of those conditions, that's a good shot if they don't have a better one. i think they can get more 20'
open shots with a better offensive system.
Haws, Emery, and early in the season Bryant, all took less than optimal shots far too often, sometimes early in the shot clock.
My point of course was stating the obvious, which is they should take the highest effective FG% shot available every possession. This team is in trouble if the best they can do is 20' contested or even a 25' uncontested on a regular basis.
It's a nice option to have a guy with a better than average chance to hit from 25' if the defense otherwise stops you on the possession.
Unless a guy is very hot, that 25' shot usually should not be taken early in the possession, IMO
