That's not entirely wrong.
Just because you can do something easily, doesn't mean you should.

Sometimes people don't truly appreciate your ability to do something if you do it quick and easy.

If I've spent a lot of time working on and learning a certain skill, then people just assume it's not hard.

That's how it is with my MIL. I'm her tech-everything person. She will call me Sunday morning to have me make/edit a video for a Church lesson, and she wants it within 2 hours, and she wants it done for free. If I drop everything else, and work hard, I can make it happen, but that doesn't mean it was easy or fun for me.

Just one small example. I'm sure that there are countless other more applicable ones. And I know I'm not alone in this. This happens to anyone that has a skill, and people know about it.
