BYU beats Utah & Boise State who both make bowl games. BYU wins their other 8 non-P5 games by double digits (none of these teams make a bowl game).

BYU wins their non-NY6 bowl game (Frisco Bowl vs Houston) and finishes the season ranked.

Personally I believe the above season would be BYU's best since at least 2009. A 12-2 record would be amazing but if I could guarantee the above I'd take it in a heart beat.
