I agree we expect a step forward in the 2nd year of this coaching staff, but wouldn't beating 2 good programs that we went 0-2 against last year (Utah, Boise) and having our first ranked season in 8 years count as a step forward? Progress usually doesn't all come at once. Sure it's a minor step considering we would beat just 1 P5 and the two best G5 teams, but I disagree it is status quo.
