Jazz have 5 of the top 7 players in that particular matchup
Jazz also beat the Lakers at 4 of 5 positions and have the 2 best players overall between the 2 rosters (Gobert and Rubio). Lakers do have a few young players that have high up-side, but they haven't proven anything yet. Ball is a rookie whereas Rubio is a solid established PG. Ingram may have high potential but he was pretty terrible last year. He will probably end up a better player than Hood, but he is not there yet. I think Favors is also better than Randle. This could possibly flip the other way if Randle continues to progress and Favors doesn't bounce back from his injuries last year. For now I'd still give Favors the edge, though. Lopez is probably one of the Laker's 2 best players right now. Gobert is clearly the better player of the 2, however.

Rubio > Ball
Ingles < Caldwell-Pope
Hood > Ingram
Favors > Randle
Gobert > Lopez
