Be careful - I think you are south enough for Africanized bees. You are certainly very close.
Agree that you wouldn't want to get bees this time of year. There are a lot of California outfits that will mail a package to you. Look also for a local beekeepers club - another source of bees. Don't wait - sign up early for a bee shipment.
