I bought a trivial amount. If it goes up as much as Bitcoin has gone up since 2011, I could be rich! If not, I will have lost a trivial amount of money.
I really do believe that cryptocurrencies will increase in use over the years. Hopefully my small diversification (choosing to buy three different ones) will hedge against a total loss, and overall my trivial investment will at least grow somewhat.
I am committed to holding on to what I bought for at least five years, regardless of volatility. You may bookmark this post and hit me up for a loan in 5 years if it turns out I'm rich.
