There are several other sites (Gemini, Kraken, Poloniex) which have lower fees that will literally do the same thing, but take them online in a paper wallet (or another offline wallet of your choosing). If it is held on the exchange, it is part of their wallet and you are reliant on their security, and frankly the incentive to hack an exchange is greater than to hack one of the random individual wallets.
