Baseball requires a much higher level of specialized skill....
than does basketball or football with the possible exception of a football QB. It is a far harder game to become good at than either of the other two.

You appear to be wrapped up in which sports take a greater natural athleticism, such as speed, quickness, vertical jump, etc. but those things do not tell the entire story, especially with baseball.

basketball does have the smallest roster size at so that right there makes it the most exclusive simply because there are less available spots. football has the largest rosters so in terms of number of available spots football is easiest to get into at the highest level.

baseball has a bigger roster than basketball but smaller than football but almost half (12) of a baseball roster is taken up by one position, pitchers, there are actually less everyday position players (13) on a baseball roster than there are on a basketball roster (15) for a game that starts almost double (9-5) the number of players in each game.

The fact that hitting a baseball is the most difficult thing to do in sports, period. Nothing else comes close in level of difficulty. There are very few people in this world that can do it well, in fact to be considered great at it all you have to do is succeed 30% of the time that is how hard it is to do.
