Which is really good to know. Is the insurance quote you are getting from
the district plan? My parents were both educators and my mother just retired after 34yrs in elementary school.

One thing she learned was that if she stayed with the District provided health care company throughout her career all the way up to when she is eligible for medicaid, then her District provided health care company would act a 2nd insurance for whatever medicaid doesn't pay/cover. Pretty sweet deal over the longer course of retirement.

Maybe something to look in to?

If not, I have heard really good things about Liberty Healthshare and especially Christian Health Ministries (oldest one with largest track regard of success). Really good options.

I wish you luck in your search!
