So far I booked my two kids Christmas trip home (2 round trip tickets) and one for me (plus the wife free on the companion pass) for Thanksgiving.

Then next year, my wife can fly free with me any time, anywhere. Rest of this year, all of next year...and I think I have 2 or three more free round trip tickets.

Personally I use the 2% cash back card for most of my purchases. I would rather have cash than travel rewards. These fluky offers, where I get all of the above for $170, seem worth the hassle.
