I have never been a fan of Kap, was criticized on here when he had his super bowl run because I was critical of him not acting or looking the part of a successful NFL QB. The rumors of his work ethic and his flawed mechanics and playing style just didn't seem to me to be a long term solution at QB. the wilson vs Kap debates on CB were crazy at the number of Kap guys over Wilson at that time.
But, owners are nuts, and if the raiders lose Carr again, or the Seahawks were to lose Wilson, or another contender without a above average backup lose a QB, Kap will get the call. They just don't want his distraction until they need him to try and win games. But anyone who signs him will regret it, he's not the player he was before film was out on him, NFL defenses know how to defend his flawed game.
