Humble brag: I was in one of these through elementary and it was great for me.
I would put my kids in a program like that for sure if my local schools had one (and if my kids tested high enough).
It pushed me, but that was what I needed. I needed to learn at a pace where I couldn't just dink around around still pass every test.
