I've had a Bosch for years and really like it. My favorite DW ever
was an Insincerator (sp?) but they no longer sell them around here. It's made by the disposal people and had a full on disposal inside. Loved that thing.
Bosch is next best thing and something you can find them in a clearance center at places like RCWilley.

We have the Whirlpool Gold Series. Other than taking 3 hours to do a cycle, it's been almost adequate. Big thumbs-up!
