For years when I returned to Meridian, some random person would come up and remind me that I taught
them how to swim. Felt like I taught every kid in town to swim there for awhile. That was way too long ago for it to still happen though. It is really fun.
Have it admit it's a bit awkward when a former client from my mental health days wants to chat at the mall or something. My kids will sometimes ask how I know "that person". I just say "I can not confirm nor deny that I know that person." They just go "oooohh, I see."
