It actually affected my business

I run a side business that uses cloud services.  The data center that I contracted with also hosted NetFlix servers.  A few years back, I started gettting complaints from customers that my service quality had dropped, but it was only customers of Comcast, and no other ISPs.

Turns out that this was during the fued between Comcast and Netflix and Comcast was actively slowing down traffic from Netflix servers.  Because I shared a hosted server company with Netflix, my business was caught up in the fight as collateral damage. The web services company ended up moving me to another data center and suddenly my service was back to normal.

The FCC rules from a couple years ago were a direct response to ISPs deciding to meddle with Net Nuetrality, which until recently has been the status quo of the internet.  That's why the argument that eliminating the Net Nuetrality rules is just taking us back to where we were before the rules were put in place is disingenuous.
