an absolute mess of a 2-win program or something. This whole "complete overhaul" of the roster is blown out of proportion. The staff is as fresh as half of the players. There are a dozen things they could be better at. It's not all about "THIS" staff fixing the roster and implementing things. Nothing wrong with the idea that the man up top could need to do some fixing of his own staff. It's entirely unrealistic to believe every member of the staff he hired is good enough.
Takes time to get the right staff in place too, at a place like BYU. Might not have been great that they kept getting 8 wins... but in a way, at least they got 8 wins time after time. Coaches need to do a better job of finding the gray area that works for this team until they get things how they want it. People really need to stop acting like this roster is void of talent or that there's no winning culture in them or yada yada.
Sitake has at least as much work to do with his staff as he does with his roster and development.
