Not really from my perspective. Why is it an insult? >>>
It is one of three for four ways I routinely look at pending recruits.
Just tonight I had a young man approach me regarding helping him get a athletic scholarship at lower 40% skilled university. One of my first three questions was "Who else is recruiting you" and "Has who else will soon be offering or has already offered you." Responses to these two questions tell me a lot.
