Why don’t Indy defenders own this one fact..
BYU’s schedules as an independent are worse than they would be as a G5 member. Every SOS metric you look at shows this. Especially when you look at the last half of the seasons. Future schedules are not looking much different. So much of the argument for Indy is playing the “big boys”. We are not playing the “big boys” any More now than we would be as a member of a top G5 league. All those legs have one or two ranked teams each year that we would be playing. And several others that are better than any of the doormats we play in November now. We had much better schedules before we went and Indy
