If it were to just keep Tanner healthy, they could have put in Kafentzis.
By putting Critchlow out there, they're warming him up for future use if needed, as well as sending a message to Tanner.

If they make him the starter I'm fine with it. If he only plays for those 3 minutes this year I hate it.
