I agree with this. But considering the injuries at QB we've had and Tanner's
Inability to complete a high percentage of passes or look off coverage then he very well may need to be benched. Also maybe we get a lead against somebody and can give Critchlow some extra reps. I would hate the move if it was only 3 minutes of playing time over the season.
But Tanner will either get hurt or will need to be benched is my expectation

If they make him the starter I'm fine with it. If he only plays for those 3 minutes this year I hate it.
