Rematches galore in conf championship games, but I think that's OK. Teams improve/get worse over the season due to injury etc. I think it would make for some great games.

Playoff can either be seeded, or the different conferences have the same spot in the bracket every year allowing for huge playoff inter conference rivalries to develop. 7 conference games, 5 out of conference, one max game out of division (the 64 power teams).

Just thinking out loud. Would be fun. As long as BYU is included.
