Not this again
An injured Taysom won the job last year, because Mangum wasn't/isn't a very good QB. Anae let him play a super simple one read and scramble offense that isn't a real system. It's merely a stop gap until a QB is ready to read a defense and prepare for the NFL. Mangum is also a junior (not a sophomore as you suggest).

Bronco may have recruited in the 50s and 60s most years, but the talent was always skewed to the defensive side of the ball. There simply wasn't a lot to work with on offense after 2016. Name one dynamic playmaker on offense. I certainly can't.

The system and coaching has been subpar for the personnel under Sitake, but Bronco also was a head coach for more than 10 years, had a system, and an identity. Sitake will gain experience. Even with Bronco's system intact, he had the same issues back in 2010. That team was nearly as bad, when the key players on offense graduated in 2009.

Let the year play out and see how the team looks against weak opponents before posting these arguments
