The story got lost in the transition from an old world Asia feel to an industrial age, nondescript world that had no real connection or anything to the story, which was disjointed in it's own right. And Korra was a weak character, compared to almost all of the characters that had been in the previous series. The best episodes from the Korra series were when they did the narrative of the first avatar, and the main story of the series was put on hold. Once they went back to the main story, I stopped watching. I didn't even know about her sexuality thing until someone told me about. That just added to my distaste for the series.
