Them moving the ball was reason number 1,000 on his list of reasons to join the GSWs. He wanted to win a championship, and because the new CBA made $20+ million of cap space open up on literally every NBA team, he had his pick of any team in the NBA. So like any other player in his situation, he chose to join the team who won 73 regular season games the year before and who already had more all-stars than any other team in the NBA. Stop pretending like GSWs are a better team because they play the game fundamentally different than everyone else. They are the best team because they have 4 all-stars.

As a side note, the Spurs play the exact same style as GSWs, but they don't have a chance to win this year. The thing they are missing is 4 all-stars. And it's not like those guys are all-stars because they are on the Warriors. Those 4 (Curry, Thompson, Green, and Durant) are all-stars on literally any team in the NBA.
