asked my parents every year to take us to LA for a game when I was a kid. I wore gear, I collected the cards, I read the biographies of Orel Hershiser and Tommy Lasorda multiple times each. As I got into my 20s I made it a point to see them play every year or two, I checked the scores every day. I always played as the Dodgers whenever I played baseball video games, I always wore a Dodgers hat. I had an "LA" logo on my car. In my 30s I've seen them multiple times every year. I get MLB.tv every year and I've had Extra Innings a few of the years. Living in NYC I've seen them play at Citi Field every year we've been here, and also in Yankee Stadium, Citizens Bank, and Nationals Park. I've NEVER wavered on the Dodgers. I've always been optimistic. Every year, "This is the year."
I knew it would happen at some point, and I'm just so happy that it's happening now. Who knows what will happen in the coming weeks, but this is a great team and I love them and I've always loved them and I always will.
