When I was in the 3rd grade I was cursing on the playground. One of the kids
told on me(probably Tawillin). A 5th grade teacher, who I always thought was a jerk anyway, grabbed me by the arm and shoved me into a classroom and called me a "green weenie". That was his weird catch phrase. Almost by instinct I turned and cursed at him. I immediately knew I was screwed but that didn't stop me from punctuating it with a finger.

The guy literally grabbed me by the neck and slammed me down in a chair and told me not to move. He left to get the principal(i assumed), so i bailed and went home.

I knew my life was over. I sat in the backyard knowing what was coming but I was 10. nowhere to go. My Mom found me and took me back to the school. On the way I explained what happened. She was furious that a teacher put his hands on me but then paused and said "well you had it coming". When she got to school she apologized to the teacher for my behavior and then said "don't ever put your hands on my kid again".

This is a alternative way to parent:
