I don't hate them....
I nothing them, but their fans are certainly clowns.
Case in point was them whining that the Dodgers/Cubs series was getting all of the primetime broadcast slots because, you know, "we're the Yankees and we're in NYC" which was extra laughable considering that the Dodgers and Cubs are located in LA and Chicago which are pretty much on par with NY as TV markets and the Cubs in particular were the defending champs but hey why use logic in these things when you think just being the yankees and NYC trumps everything and anything.
